"Munna Kampala, omanyi Kampala?" (translated from Luganda as "Citizen of Kampala, do you know Kampala?") is a compelling, research-based documentary photography series exploring the evolving urban landscape of Uganda's capital.
The project launched on Instagram and Facebook on January 16, 2019, as an ambitious 365-day visual research initiative. By creating and sharing a photograph every single day for an entire year (concluding January 16, 2020), this practice acts as a living archive of Kampala’s endangered architectural history.
